Kimberly Van Horn
Kim is the Director of Taxes at Hamel Associates. Her role is to make certain that all of our clients’ federal and state tax returns are filed accurately and in a timely manner. She is also responsible for researching tax issues, as well as conducting correspondence with the IRS and state authorities.
She began her career at Price Waterhouse in their International Advisory Tax Services. There she gained a keen knowledge of individual taxation at an early stage of her career. Kim later spent time working in private industry before joining Hamel Associates in 2000.
Kim is a Certified Public Accountant and a member of the American Institute of CPAs, as well as the New Jersey Society of CPAs.
She graduated cum laude from Montclair State University with a B.S. in Finance and later obtained an M.B.A. in Accounting from Fairleigh Dickinson University.
Kim lives in Randolph, New Jersey with her two children.
